As a clinical psychologist, I have counseled adults and adolescents in many areas of life difficulties. I
utilize several strategies including but not limited to Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Models and Brief Solution Focused with the goal of
tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs. I treat people who struggle with, but not limited
to depression and anxiety, adjustment to life circumstances/challenges and LGBTQ issues.
My counseling style is interactive and non-judgmental, utilizing empathy and humor when appropriate, as I believe humor is an important part of well-being. I assist individuals in recognizing their own patterns of behavior that impact and cause distress in daily life and relationships. I ask questions that help individuals discover solutions and coping styles within themselves to help improve quality of life and self-understanding
